Over the last fifty years the Institute's mission has remained faithful to the
inspiration behind its creation: to be a business school that contributes
to the development of management education and to the growth of organisations,
promoting entrepreneurial behaviour and innovative thinking. Its function
is to train future business leaders, and conduct studies and research aimed
at fostering organisational growth and improving the environment in which
companies operate.
The primary objective is to solve the problem of the
relationship between managerial training and the creation
of economic value: how to produce a training process
that, at the same time, adds value to the individual
by developing competencies and expanding career opportunities,
and to the company by enhancing its intellectual assets.
The
methods, technology and tools used in ISIDA's programmes
propel a training process that generates a rich patrimony
of human resources for companies and organisations. To
pursue its customer-oriented vision, ISIDA has developed
and implemented a Quality Management System that, in
keeping with the principle of continuous improvement,
allows it to adapt its research and study services to
meet customer requirements, and renew its training offer
by constantly updating content, materials and training
methods. In this way, ISIDA aims to diffuse management
models that not only convey the cognitive aspects of
management, in terms of systems, techniques and methodologies,
but also stimulate the students' personal and social
development, in terms of leadership skills, creativity,
motivation and innovation. At ISIDA, quality management
is considered a philosophy that takes two main directions:
towards behavioural change, optimising the participation
of resources at all levels in a spirit of joint responsibility,
which calls for the continual upgrading of competencies in order to deliver new services;
and towards the perception of Quality as a work tool that permits a rapid response
to the needs of the internal and external Customer.
Today, ISIDA is a Quality Institute, promoting quality
culture in the business world by offering special modules
within its courses.
On the basis of these principles, ISIDA is pursuing a
new objective, and a model of excellence that consolidates
its position as a national and international leader in
training and research.
